Richard has served in pastoral ministry for the past 40 years. He began his ministry in 1980 as a staff minister in Fairbanks, Alaska. Richard has planted, replanted, and pastored churches in the US and Canada. Richard and his wife Teresa have been active in church planting since their seminary day’s as they were part of a church plant team in Ft. Worth, Texas. In addition to planting in the US and Canada; Richard has overseen the planting of more than 130 urban and rural indigenous plants in the Indian State of Orissa from 2005 through 2015. Currently, Richard serves as the Church Planter Catalyst for the State of Idaho with the North American Mission Board, Utah/Idaho Southern Baptist Convention. Prior to assuming his current ministry as CPC in January of 2015, Richard was the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church – Bonners Ferry, Idaho for eleven-and-a-half years.
